US envoy Donald Blome visits Khairpur health centre

A US delegation, comprising the country’s ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome, CEN Consul General and others, on Wednesday visited the Babarloi basic health unit (BHU) near Khairpur, and sought information about malnutrition in children and other health issues, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Department of Health and PPHI officials, on the occasion, briefed the delegation.   

Speaking on the occasion, members of the delegation said that the USA was making efforts to resolve health issues across the world.

They said that in the past too, the country had focused on the country’s health sector.
