Minhaj University’s VC calls on Ch Parvez Elahi

Minhaj University Vice-Chancellor Dr Sajid Mehmood Shehzad Saturday called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence Saturday.

Secretary Punjab Assembly Mohammad Khan Bhatti was also present during the meeting. Dr Sajid presented his book “Blue Economy” to Ch Parvez Elahi.

Ch Parvez Elahi said Professor Dr Tahirul Qadri is a treasure of knowledge and Minhaj University is equipping the youngsters of the country with education.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Sajid said as the Chief Minister Pervez Elahi had rendered great services for education and as a result of which literacy rate had increased in the province.

He said at that time the children were given stipends for the first time in the history, besides free education books and uniforms were also provided and particularly separate educational institutions for the special children and provision of transport for them were the measures which were also duly appreciated in foreign countries.
