DC Lahore directs to remove encroachment at Ring Road

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Monday directed the officials for taking measures to deal with the encroachment problems at the Ring Road area near Mahmood Booti Bund, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
He was chairing a meeting to speed up the Ravi Urban Development Project.
On the occasion, he directed the officials of the Ring Road Authority, Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), and the revenue department to conduct a joint survey as per the plan arranged by the RUDA of the area. The final decision will be taken after the survey, he added.
In the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Shalimar, EDO RUDA Brig Anwar Awan, and other concerned officials attended the meeting.
Brig Anwar Awan briefed the DC Lahore about the ongoing developments of the project. DC Lahore heard the problems in detail.
Muhammad Ali also directed that Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Imran Safdar will monitor all matters. A meeting will be called again after the survey, he concluded.
