Child born with heart outside chest shifted to Lahore hospital on CM’s order

A child, born in Muzaffargarh with his heart outside the chest, was shifted Tuesday to Children’s Hospital, Lahore, for treatment on the instructions of Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The chief minister had ordered special arrangements for the child. He was shifted to Children’s Hospital, Lahore, in a special ambulance.

The baby, named Abdullah, was born two days ago with his heart outside the chest at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Muzaffargarh.

He was later admitted to Children’s Hospital, Multan, for further treatment before being moved to Children’s Hospital, Lahore.
