Young doctors announce boycott of hospital OPDs across Punjab from tomorrow

Young Doctors Association (YDA) Punjab has announced to boycott Out Patient Door (OPD) of hospitals across the province from tomorrow (Monday), reported 24NewsHD TV cahnnel on Sunday.

In this regard, YDA Punjab president Dr. Shoaib Niazi said that the government has not accepted any of our demands, on which OPDs of hospitals across Punjab will remain closed tomorrow.

Dr. Shoaib Niazi demanded that doctors' Security Bill should be implemented on the incidents of violence against doctors in DHQ Sargodha and Children's Hospital Lahore in a few days.

He further demanded end of ad hoc and unfair system of recruitment of doctors on local basis.

Government promises to increase the salaries of doctors should be fulfilled immediately, he demanded.

He further demanded that retaliation against doctors should be stopped.
