Lahore’s five-star hotels fined for not installing invoice monitoring system

Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has started imposing heavy fines on five-star hotels of Lahore for not installing invoice monitoring system, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

On the instructions of Chairman PRA Nauman Yousuf, fine of Rs100,000 each has been imposed on all the five-star hotels.

According to spokesperson, five star hotels have been given one month to install the system and in failure to install the system within the stipulated time will attract double penalty.

Spokesperson said that system was not installed despite repeated reminders and information sessions.

The PRA had given show cause notices to those who did not install the invoice monitoring system.
