Five shot dead over monetary issue in Kharian

Five persons died and three sustained critical injuries in a firing incident between two groups over some monetary issue in Trerwanwala, Kharian, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, the members of Mehar group came to the dera of Haji Fazal to collect money. As the matter escalated, both sides fired shots at each other.

Resultantly, 53-year-old Muhammad Nawaz of Fazal Group died in the firing while 40-year-old Nasir Mehar, 30-year-old Saddam Butt and 40-year-old Sajjad Mithu of Mehar Group were also among the deceased.

Haji Fazal, Ehsan and Faisal sustained injuries in the incident.
