Actors arguing on Ertugrul very shameful, says Zahid Ahmed

Airing of Turkish dramas in Pakistan is not a new trend. From "Ishq e Mamnoon" to "Mera Sultan", over the years many Turkish dramas became popular in Pakistan but no one criticized them or considered them a threat to local culture.

But the latest Turkish series ‘Ertugrul’ has been criticized by many Pakistani actors. However, actor Zahid Ahmed has given a mouth-shutting reply to those criticizing ‘Ertugral Ghazi’.

In a video uploaded on social media, Zahid said: “I wholeheartedly accept the success of ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’. I found it very shameful that some actors were criticizing the series and considering it a threat for our industry. If you are a good actor no one can take your job. We should be shameful that being a Muslim we in Pakistan are not creating content like them.”
