Newborn baby kidnapped from Sahiwal hospital

A woman kidnapped a newly born baby from the Gynae Ward of Government Haji Qayyum Hospital in Sahiwal on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Protesting against the incident, family members of the child demanded the police to arrest the woman and recover their little one.

Police said a woman named Tayyaba, a resident of Bilal Colony, had given birth to a child last night.

Quoting baby’s family, the Force said that a woman who was present in the same ward after seeing that the mother had slept, took the baby away with her.

Police further said that they were investigating the matter by looking at the footages obtained from the cameras installed inside as well as outside the hospital.
