Official affairs affected as Punjab IG ‘missing’ for 8 days

Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Faisal Shahkar is not coming to his office for the last eight days due to which numerous official affairs are being affected, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Punjab Police IG Faisal gave joining on December 5 and went to Islamabad. Due to the non-availability of the Punjab Police IG, appointments and transfers of police officers are being badly affected. During the last eight years, three DPOs and two SPs issued orders that were canceled on the very next day amid political interference.
