Prisoner walks to ‘freedom’ through washroom in Nawabshah

An under-trial prisoner managed to escape from police custody as they ate food at a restaurant in Qazi Ahmed area of Nawabshah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to police officials, prisoner Hanif alias Billu Badshah was brought for appearance at an anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Khairpur from Central Jail in Karachi.
On their way back to Karachi, when they stopped at a restaurant for lunch, the prisoner escaped on the pretext of going to the washroom, the police official said.
However, police are searching for the escaped prisoner, said the officials.
