JUI-F chief holds talks with Mullah Haibatullah

Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Friday held a meeting with Taliban Emir Haibatullah Akhundzada, reported the 24NewsHd TV Channel.
In an informal conversation with the correspondent of 24 News in Kabul, Maulana Fazlur Rehman confirmed the news and said that they held comprehensive and inclusive talks” on all issues.
According to sources, Fazl who is touring Afghanistan on the Afghan interim government’s invitation flew through a special plane from Kabul to Kandahar to meet Mullah Haibatullah.
They said that Maulana Fazlur Rahman left for Kandahar in a special plane from Kabul early in the morning. “Maulana Fazlur Rehman was received at Kandahar Airport by representatives of Afghan supreme leader Maulana Haibatullah,” they added.
Fazlur Rahman reached Mullah Haibatullah's residence from Kandahar and both leaders had a one-on-one meeting for three hours.
During the meeting, the two leaders also agreed to increase mutual communication between Pakistan and the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan and to bring peace and order in the region.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman is the first Pakistani leader to have met Mullah Haibatullah.
Mulla Haibatullah also gave lunch in honor of Maulana Fazlur Rehman. JUI-F informed Mullah Haibatullah about the details of his visit.
Desiring good and peaceful relations between Pakistan and the Islamic Emirate, Haibatullah assured Maulana of all possible cooperation.
Maulana Fazlur Rahman returned to Kabul from Kandahar at night after the meeting.
The sources said that both the leaders discussed all issues between the two countries.
They held comprehensive and inclusive talks, covering all issues, and exchanged suggestions for cooperation in all fields. They endorsed Pakistan’s stance in a very proper way,” the sources said quoting the JUI-F chief.
