Tehreek-e-Insaf will give arguments in the Supreme Court tomorrow, Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said on Friday.
“We trust the judiciary and hopefully the scales of justice will be equal for us,” he said while talking to the media outside the Supreme Court.
He added: “We are facing a fixed match. Bat is the symbol of the people.
“The umpire is being manipulated against us.
“The identity of political parties in elections is the electoral symbol.”
Casting doubt about the election commission, he stressed: “The Supreme Court should instruct the Election Commission to conduct transparent elections.
“The Election Commission is taking out the funeral of democracy. The Supreme Court has a constitutional responsibility to maintain the continuity of democracy.”
He continued: “We have issued tickets to our workers.” There is no difference in the party regarding the distribution of tickets.
“We have requested that our cases be heard even on a holiday.”
He said he was saddened by the resignation of two top court judges.
