PTI chairman Barrister Gohar has said that PTI delegation held 45 minutes discussions with PTI founder Imran Khan and PTI delegation was happy to see that Imran Khan were fit and healthy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Addressing a press conference in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House in Islamabad, Gohar said during the meeting Imran Khan briefed the delegation about the poor condition of his cell in Adiala Jail. He said Imran Khan told them that his cell was without electricity for five days and during last two weeks he could not held body exercises and he is only allowed to come out of cell for two and half hours daily. Gohar said despite all this Imran Khan made it clear that he will not compromise on his principles.


PTI leader demanded of the government to offer facilities to Imran Khan. Gohar said Imran Khan has no knowledge about the proposed amendments. He said on the occasion Imran Khan lauded JUI chief’s role. He said after detailed discussion on proposed draft, Imran Khan demanded that he wanted to held discussion with Omar Ayub, Ahmed Khan Bachar, Ali Amin Gandapur and Shibli Faraz on the proposed draft therefore his meeting should be arranged with these four PTI leaders on Monday. Barrister Gohar hoped that PTI delegation of the four members will be allowed to meet Imran Khan on Monday. Barrister Gohar complained that PTI was not allowed meeting for one and half hour and delegation was asked to leave the conference room after 45 minutes. Barrister Gohar hoped that PTI delegation will be allowed to meet Imran Khan on Monday again.


Earlier, PTI delegation’s meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan to discuss proposed draft of the 26th Constittional Amendments has ended on Saturday and PTI delegation has left Adiala Jail to meet JUI chief after sometime, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Barrister Gohar, Asad Qaiser and Salman Akram Raja held meeting with Imran Khan for more than one and half hours in the conference room. Talking to media after the meeting, Barrister Gohar said that PTI will made further discussion on the proposed draft and then give its reply to the government. To a question whether PTI has given consent to the proposed dearft, Barrister Gohar said that PTI will announce this decision after meeting with JUI chief Mualana Fazl-ur-Rehman.
