Five die as bus rams into tractor-trolley in Faisalabad

Five people were killed while over 10 were injured when a speeding bus rammed into a tractor-trolley in Faisalabad on Tuesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Driver of the bus, which was heading from Pakpattan to Faisalabad, lost control of the vehicle due to fast speed, resulting in the bus overturning and then crashing into a tractor-trolley in the jurisdiction of Satyana police station.
Resultantly, two people travelling in the tractor-trolley were killed while two passengers and the bus conductor were also killed.
Police and Rescue 1122 personnel reached site of the incident and started relief activities.
Two die in Shorkot crash
Two people died while another injured after a bus crashed into a trawler at M4 Bahu Interchange in Shorkot on Tuesday morning.
CPO Motorway Police Faisal Faraz rushed to spot and supervised the relief operation.
The bus was travelling from Sialkot to Rajanpur when it met the accident as his driver fell asleep.
The dead bodies and injured were shifted to THQ Hospital Shorkot.
Punjab CM orders action against driver
Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in Faisalabad road accident.
He conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families.
The chief minister sought a report into the tragic accident and also ordered action against the driver for showing negligence.
