Three die, 38 injured as passenger bus falls into ravine at Karakoram Highway

Three die and 38 got injured as passenger bus moving from Skardu to Rawalpindi fell into ravine at Karakoram Highway, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to rescue officials, accident took place near Harban area at night, teams were facing difficulties in rescue efforts, they feared that causalities may rise. The deceased and injured are being shifted to Shitial Hospital. More passengers are being rescued from a ditch by rescuers.

According to a report, there were more than two dozen passengers in the bus, out of which three people are reported to have died and several passengers were injured in the accident. After the accident, the leaves of the doctors and paramedics have been cancelled and emergency has been declared in Shitial Hospital.
