Lawsuit against PM Shehbaz: LHC puts off Imran’s review plea indefinitely

The Lahore High Court has expressed its annoyance over the incomplete lawsuit filed by PTI Chairman Imran Khan against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and adjourned the case for an indefinite period of time, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Former premier and PTI Chief Imran Khan filed a review petition in the Lahore High Court against the rejection of his plea seeking damages from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif by a sessions court.
LHC Justice Masood Abid Naqvi heard the PTI chairman’s review petition on Tuesday.
Advocate Usman appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
At the outset of the hearing, the judge asked the lawyer where the order sheet was.
The lawyer replied that he had come in a hurry and forgot to attach it.
Then the judge asked him where the application and affidavit were.
Justice Naqvi expressed his exasperation over the slackness of the lawyer.
With this, the court adjourned the case indefinitely.
