Not playing in Pakistan for security reasons is injustice: Moeen Ali

England all-rounder Moeen Ali has said that it is an injustice not to visit Pakistan for security reasons.
“Because no one is safe anywhere on earth. It can happen at any moment, even in England. The common perception of cricketing teams is that going to Pakistan is unsafe which isn’t justified at all,” he said.
The 32-year-old England all-rounder is playing for Multan Sultans in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Moeen Ali talked about the context of Bangladesh while praising Pakistan’s security system for the PSL.
A number of cricketers, including regular England captain Eoin Morgan, did not travel to Bangladesh on security issues following the tragic terrorist attack on Holy Artizan in Gulshan in 2016.
Referring to the England team’s tour of Bangladesh in 2016, he said, “There is no safe place in the world, not just Pakistan. Yes, in some places you will find yourself feeling safer. But now the security system has improved a lot. A few years ago, we faced the same situation in Bangladesh. Some cricketers did not go there. But in Bangladesh we were in great security.”
