PSL 10: Platinum category players finalized

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) management and franchise representatives Saturday held a critical meeting to finalize player categories for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, reported 24NewsxHD TV channel.  

According to sources, key decisions have been made regarding the allocation of local players in the prestigious Platinum category.

Finalized Platinum Players by Franchise

Lahore Qalandars: Shaheen Shah Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, and Haris Rauf have been finalized in the Platinum category.

Peshawar Zalmi: Babar Azam and Saim Ayub have been confirmed for the top category.

Quetta Gladiators: Mohammad Amir is the sole player from the team to secure a Platinum spot.

Islamabad United: Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah, and Imad Wasim have been finalized.

Karachi Kings: Surprisingly, no player from the franchise was finalized for the Platinum category.

Multan Sultans: Mohammad Rizwan and Usama Mir made the Platinum list, while a decision between Iftikhar Ahmed and Abbas Afridi has been delayed and referred to a review committee.

For categories beyond Platinum, voting disagreements have pushed the matter to the selection panel, which will review and finalize the players' categories. 

The panel is expected to communicate the final names and categories to all franchises by tomorrow (Sunday).
