IMF to hold talks with Pakistan on fuel, gas, electricity prices on May 18

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative for Pakistan Esther Perez Ruiz has said talks with Pakistan will be held in Doha from May 18.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the talks between Pakistan and IMF will focus on the successful completion of the 7th Review Mission.
The sources said that the condition of eliminating fuel subsidies and rising electricity and gas prices will be discussed in the talks.
Sources further said that the tax targets of the next budget of Pakistan will also be considered in the Doha meeting.
