Former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ishaq Dar on Sunday said that Hamza Shehbaz is a victim of the worst political revenge of this fascist government and is serving a sentence for long-standing uncommitted sins.

Ishaq Dar urged the authorities that all medical facilities should be provided to Hamza immediately. He requested the nation to pray for Hamza's speedy recovery.

“I am really concerned after hearing the news of Hamza Shehbaz contracting COVID-19,” he further said.

Earlier in the day PML-N Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb said the Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly has contracted coronavirus. PML-N has formally asked the Punjab government to shift Hamza Shahbaz to Ittefaq Hospital for immediate medical treatment.
