Advocate General Punjab applies for leave for his eyes’ treatment in UK

Advocate General Punjab (AGP) Ahmad Awais has submitted an application to Punjab chief minister for a six-day ex-Pakistan leave for visiting the UK for the treatment of his eyes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the copy of the application, which City42 has managed to obtain, the AGP has sought leave from September 14-19 during which he will see an eye specialist in Birmingham on September 15.
Besides that, he is also scheduled to meet the office-bearers of Local Government Sweden Authority during his stay in the UK.
Sources have told 24News that the AGP had a minor eye operation in Lahore some time back, and that now he is going to the UK for the follow-up.
