Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended the combined effort of civil and military authorities who on Monday built a dyke within 36 hours to save a 500 KV Dadu grid station from floods, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his tweet posted on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz said: The combined effort of civil and military authorities to construct a dyke measuring 3 kilometers within 36 hours to protect Dadu grid station from floods is commendable. I also congratulate the National Highway Authority team for restoring the last highway of Balochistan to traffic by removing the landslide at M-8 between Ratodero and Khuzdar.”

The prime minister has directed the authorities to restore the infrastructure damaged during the recent calamitous floods across the country on emergency basis. He himself is monitoring the restoration work and is getting report on daily basis.
