Move to Metaverse era: MoU Signed between ESP-Pakistan and Xero Tech

Realizing the potential of “Metaverse” as a medium of virtual and distant immersive learning, ESP-Pakistan and Xero Tech FZ LLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Dubai the other day.
The ESP-Pakistan Director Ahmed Cheema and Xero Tech CEO Noman Shah signed the memorandum in a special ceremony held in Dubai. Eminence Group CEO Irfan Qureshi and Emarat Developers CEO Farhan Gillani were also present on this occasion.
The MoU will cover the provision of Virtual Reality and 3D platforms services and solutions including the experiences of classrooms, parent-teacher meetings and seminar halls from Xero Tech on its Xeroland metaverse platform.
Using metaverse as an immersive remote education accessibility platform, the ESP-Pakistan and Xero Tech will explore the potential of joint activities in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), cross-training of faculty, and skills development training programs for IT, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship.
Xero Tech FZ LLC is Dubai based startup by two Pakistani co-founders, developing the ultimate metaverse platform to provide B2C, B2B and B2G solutions and experiences as well as P2E games and NFTs. In July 2022, Xero Tech FZ LLC announced the startup raised $200k in their pre-seed round.
Recently, according to an official announcement, Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed launched the Metaverse Strategy. He is appointed as Chair of the Committee on Metaverse by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Commenting on his appointment, Sheikh Hamdan stated, “We are working as a team to enhance Dubai’s position as a global birthplace and research laboratory for future technologies and one of the world’s top 10 metaverse economies, in line with the Dubai Metaverse Strategy."
