Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh given additional charge of Revenue Division

Federal Finance Minister Hafeez Shaikh has been assigned additional charge of the Revenue Division.

According to a notification issued on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave the additional portfolio of Revenue Division to Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.

Shaikh was previously serving as an Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance. He had been handed the portfolio of the finance ministry.

The move comes following the Islamabad High Court (IHC) decision on the inclusion of advisors and special assistants in cabinet committees.
