Flights cancelled, delayed by dense fog

Flight operation at Karachi International Airport was disrupted again on Monday due to fog and other technical reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Several flights of domestic and foreign airlines from Karachi Airport delayed including Serene Airline flight ER-540 to Quetta was delayed for five hours, now scheduled at 1 pm.

Serene Airlines Lahore Departure flight ER 502 with one hour delay left at 9 am while PIA flight PK302 to Lahore was delayed by one hour and 45 minutes delay from Karachi: Airport. 

Saudi Airlines flight to Jeddah SV707 was delayed by one and a half hours while Qatar Airlines, Turkish and Airblue flights were also delayed by 15 minutes. The Civil Aviation Department said fog has affected the flight schedule.
