Lahore-bound flight diverted to Islamabad due to fuel shortage

An airplane coming from Jeddah to Lahore has been diverted to Islamabad Airport due to shortage of fuel, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources told 24News TV channel on Tuesday that the AirBlue flight PA 4711 which was coming to Lahore from Jeddah was diverted to the Islamabad International Airport owing to shortage of fuel.
The sources said that the plane continued to hover in the air for around 40 minutes.
