Sara Inam case: Ayaz Amir gets phone back as no link with case proven

A hearing for an application filed by the father of the main accused Ayaz Amir in the Sara Inam murder case for phone custody was carried out Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ayaz Amir’s advocate Nisar Asghar appeared in the court of Judge Atta Rabbani.

Ayaz Amir’s mobile phone was sent to the forensics lab for investigation and the forensic reports state that the phone had nothing to do with the case.

The police in their statement said that there is no need to keep the phone as case property and there is no objection in returning it.

The court accepted the police’s statement and ordered to return the phone to Ayaz Amir.
