Warm welcome for President Erdogan at Parliament

Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdogan arrived at Parliament house in Islamabad at 11am where he will address the joint session of the parliament.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani and National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser received the Turkish President and his wife outside the Parliament building and led him to the hall.
As soon as the Turkish dignitary entered the hall all members of the upper and lower houses stood up and welcome the Friend of Pakistan with clapping hard.
The Turkish president after addressing the joint session will offer Friday prayers at Islamabad’s Faisal Mosque. He is also scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan and witness signing of several agreements between the two brotherly countries.
It will be the fourth time that President Erdogan will address the joint session of the parliament. Recep Tayyib Erdogan has addressed Pakistan’s Parliament twice as the prime minister and once as the President of Turkey.
