PTI, JUI-F out, Independent candidate Shahid wins Kohat Tehsil Chairmanship

An independent candidate Shahid Bilal has won the seat of Kohat Tehsil Chairman in the re-polling of local body elections on Sunday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, there were total of 54 polling stations and after compiling the results of all polling stations, Shahid is unofficially won the polls.

 The report said that independent candidate Shahid Bilal bagged total of 2327 votes while the runner up candidate Abrar Mohammad obtained 1082 votes. He was also an independent candidate.

For the third position, Awami National Party (ANP) candidate Shah Faisal received only 234 votes.
