PM attends closing ceremony of Pak Navy’s Maritime Exercise Aman-23

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Navy's multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-23 in Karachi on Tuesday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the prime minister was the principal guest at the ceremony, which took place in the Arabian Sea.

The ceremony was also attended by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer, the defence secretary, the governor and chief minister of Sindh.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, as well as military chiefs, were also present in the concluding ceremony.

Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of the Naval Staff, greeted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif upon his arrival at the Pakistan Navy's ship in the Arabian Sea.

The prime minister was also briefed on the AMAN exercise, which he watched and replied to the respect gestures shown by passing ships and aircraft while observing the International Fleet Review (IFR) Exercise.

The ships and aeroplanes participating in the drill saluted the primary guest.
