Punjab police to issue red warrants for chief suspect in Bilal Yasin firing case, Mian Vicky

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan Friday expressed the hope that Mian Vicky, who had allegedly sent men to shoot Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Punjab Assembly (MPA) Bilal Yasin dead, would be arrested soon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He further said that Lahore police were going to issue red warrants for the arrest of the remaining suspects in the case, including the chief suspect Mian Vicky. “We are also in touch with the Interpol to bring Vicky back to Pakistan in case he has fled abroad,” the IGP disclosed.
A day before, on January 13, 2022, 24News reported that the two men, arrested in connection with firing on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Bilal Yasin, who is also the nephew of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, had made some startling revelations to the interrogators.
Police officials said the shooters, Majid and Kashif, had disclosed that they had agreed to take the life of the MPA in exchange for Ice Drugs; that they had been evicted from their homes by their parents a long time ago, and that planning for the attack was done at Muhsin’s outhouse, who was the partner of Mian Vicky, a bookie.
They had further told the interrogators that they carried out the attack on the orders of Vicky.
Bilal Yasin had got injured on December 31, 2021 when two unknown motorcyclists opened fire at him in Lahore.
Bilal was immediately shifted to Mayo Hospital for treatment.
According to eyewitnesses, the PML-MPA received bullets in the leg and abdomen.
