PTI will use ‘batsman’ symbol after alliance with splinter group PTI-N

Apprehending the danger that ‘bat’ symbol is likely to be snatched from the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, the party has started to act on its Plan B according to which the party candidates will contest elections under the symbol of ‘batsman’ of the PTI-Nazriati party after forging an alliance with it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
As per the reports, the party has issued instructions to all its candidates to submit their "Tehreek-e-Insaf-Nazriati" tickets at the RO office and also collect receipts for them.
According to the instructions, if someone does not accept PTI candidates’ tickets or if the submission is obstructed by the police or the returning officer, they should immediately email a complaint to the district, provincial and the Central Election Commission.
In the instructions from the party, the candidates have been further directed to submit their written complaints to the police, file a petition in the High Court, share post on social media, and send all these evidences and applications to the party.
As per the party instructions, the candidates have started submitting their PTI-Nazriati tickets. .
It should be noted that election symbol of PTI-Nazriati is "batsman" and its chairman is Akhtar Dar.
Dar founded and got registered the PTI-Nazriati as a separate party after developing differences with the PTI.
