A Lahore court on Wednesday sought a reply from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in a holy cross disrespecting case against TikToker Jannat Mirza, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday.
On May 29, a complaint was filed in FIA Cyber Wing against her by Lahore’s Christian community, alleging Mirza of posting a clip on a video-sharing platform in which she could be seen dangling a holy cross on her pant.
Complainant Saleem Silvester approached the court against Jannat Mirza, seeking registration of an FIR for disrespecting their holy cross. The complainant argued that the TikToker had disrespected their holy cross and they had submitted a complaint in FIA earlier but no case had been registered against her. The complainant urged the court to order registering a case against Jannat Mirza.
The court sought a reply from the FIA in this regard.
