Gold prices suddenly soar by Rs4,000 per tola in Pakistan

Pakistani gold market suddenly changed the trend of continuous decline in the rates of yellow metals and observed a sudden price hike on Thursday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the price of 24 karats of pure gold increased by Rs4,000 per tola and Rs3.429 per 10 grams to settle at Rs208,000 per tola and Rs178,326 per 10 grams respectively.
The price of 10 grams gold of 22 karats traded in the local market at Rs1,63,466 per 10-gram.
Meanwhile, the price of the yellow metal increased by $13 per ounce to settle at $1,959 per ounce in the international market on Thursday.
The price of pure silver of 24 karats increased by Rs50 per tola to Rs2,600 per tola in the Pakistani market while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs42.87 to Rs2,229.08 per 10 grams.
It is worth mentioning that in the last two days, the gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply by Rs5,000 per tola and was sold at Rs204,000 per tola.
