Justice Shafi Siddiqui takes oath as new SHC chief justice

Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui was sworn in as new chief justice of the Sindh High Court on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori administered the oath to the new SHC chief justice.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan, SHC judges and family members of Justice Shafi Siddiqui attended the oath-taking ceremony.
Born on August 12, 1965, Justice Shafi Siddiqui was appointed as a judge of the SHC on March 20, 2012. He was enrolled as an advocate of the subordinate judiciary and the high court in 1992 and 1994, respectively, and enrolled as an advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2008.
