Mehmoodur Rasheed’s remand extended in Askari Tower attack case

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed for 14 days in the Askari Tower attack case.
The PTI leader was produced in the court of Khalid Arshad who ordered police to present him on June 27 again.
The Gulberg police registered the case. The PTI members took to the streets to vent their spleen against the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan in a corruption case on May 9.
Angry protesters damaged public property, and stormed the state assets and sensitive installations in countrywide riots, leaving a trail of devastation.
