Opp should give ‘parallel Covid-19 strategy’ before criticism: Shibli Faraz

Leader of the House in Senate Shibli Faraz on Tuesday said the opposition should inform the government about their ‘parallel Covid-19 strategy’ for dealing with pandemic.
PTI Senator and Information Minister Shibli Faraz opposition should support the nation and should mobilize their own parties to help the people.
He said Pakistan needed a national unity but few political parties wanted that country’s economy may collapse but it will not be happened.
Shibli raised questions: "Does the opposition have a plan of its own? Do they want a curfew? When the opposition called the session why did they not participate?"
He said the government paid a salute to all frontline warriors including all doctors and paramedics.
He quoted his father’s poetry to give to the frontline warriors: doobtay dooptay kashti ko challa dey du, mein nahi koi to shail pay utar jaye ga!
Conspiracies against 18th Amendment
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Senator Mohammad Usman Khan Kakar on Thursday said that conspiracies against the 18th Amendment have been "going on for a long time".
He said capital population was two million but the provinces have 200 million populations. He claimed that there have been a ‘Pashtun genocide’ ongoing in erstwhile Federally Administrative Tribal Areas.
He said Arif Khan Wazir was killed on May 2, a PTM activist, and to set the record the right Arif Khan Wazir’s grandfather was Faqeer Ipi who led armed struggle against the British forces Senator demanded civilian authority must be implemented in FATA.
