Teenage boy killed after brutal torture of cleric in madrassa in Lahore

A 14-year-old boy was killed after brutal torture by a cleric of the local madrassa in Lahore.

The 24News HD TV Channel reported on Sunday that the boy named Hamza was a resident of Malik Park in Badami Bagh, Lahore.

He was studying at the local madrassa named Dar ul Uloom Hamidiya where accused Qari Muhammad Majid allegedly tortured him two days ago.

Due to serious injuries, the boy was shifted to Mayo Hospital for treatment in the emergency ward but he succumbed to his injuries.

Lahore police have shifted Hamza's body to the morgue for postmortem and started an investigation against the accused.
