The National Accountability Bureau is zeroing in on former accountability Czar Shahzad Akbar in an assets beyond means case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Former SAPM on accountability Shahzad Akbar has come on the NAB radar as the anti-graft watchdog has started an investigation against him in a corruption case.

The ex-PM aide has been directed to present the record of all moveable and immoveable property in his name to the bureau by Nov 15.

The watchdog has also summoned record of property that is in the name of his family members.

The NAB has issued orders to the FDA, LDA and RDA to look into his assets.

The anti-corruption watchdog has received complaints of irregularity against Akbar while remitting money recovered from England. In this case, the NAB requested the FIA to put his name on the Exit Control List.

Earlier, the bureau has sent a questionnaire consisting of 22 queries to Akbar.
