Famous Pakistani actress Ghana Ali has appeared as a guest on FHM podcast where she responded to accusations about being a ‘gold-digger.’
Previously, netizens criticized the actress a lot as it was her husband’s second marriage and labeled her as a ‘gold-digger’ and ‘home-wrecker’.
Ghana got married to Umair Gulzar, a businessman.
In the interview, the lady opened up about the criticism she received. She said: “I do not understand why people call me a gold-digger as my husband has a stable job and is not a super-rich businessman.”
The actress further added that she does not need anyone’s money as she is financially independent.
“I don't know where this gold is that I am apparently digging, I would like to have it if there is some.”

The ‘Sangdil’ star also talked about the bad criticism she's been receiving, which she attributes to a sponsored campaign launched by her husband's ex-wife.
In an interview with Mathira Ghana said that my husband faced a lot of hatred because of me.

“Whatever my husband has gone through because of me, I would want him to be superior for the rest of my life. He’s been through a lot because of me, the people he trusted were the ones who left him because he chose to marry me. I will do whatever he tells me to.”
