Journalists boycott PTI leaders’ talk over Gandapur’s remarks against media

Journalists community has registered their protest against PTI over the unbecoming remarks of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s remarks against working journalist, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Beat reporters removed their TV mics from the stage as PTI leaders Salman Akram Raja and Senator Shibli Faraz and others started their conversation.
Beat reporters claimed that PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur levelled baseless and below the belt remarks against Pakistan journalists during PTI rally in Sangjani, Islamabad and PTI leadership has not clarified its position or refuted the allegation levelled by their leader against journalist.
Journalists demanded that they will continue the boycott of PTI leaders press conferences until Gandapur himself apologizes over his remarks.
On the occasion, Salman Akram Raja said that Gandapur’s statement was not the politics of PTI. When journalists reminded Shibli Faraz that he also had spoken wrongly about the journalists, Shibli Faraz admitted that “he stands by his remarks”.
