The government on Friday decreased the prices of petroleum products. 

According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the petrol price has been decreased by Rs1.79 per litre and now it stands at Rs108.56 per litre. The price of high speed diesel has been decreased by Rs2.32 per litre and now it stands at Rs110.76 per litre. The price of light diesel stands at Rs2.21 per litre and now it stands at Rs77.65 per litre. The price of kerosene oil has been decreased by Rs2.06 per litre and now it stands at Rs80 per litre. The new prices will be effective from April 16 to 31.
