Another two people were killed in the name of honour in remote North Waziristan district of Kyber-Pahktunkhwa province, police said on Saturday.

Reportedly, Zard Ayub murdered his sister and Tahir, accused of having an affair with the former’s sister, in Spinwarm area of North Waziristan.

DSP Azam Khan led an operation and nailed the suspect. District Police Officer Shafiullah Khan Gandapur announced special prize for the raiding team.

Last month, the killings of the two girls aged 16 and 18 in Garyum in North Waziristan came to spotlight after a video went viral. The bodies were secretly shifted to their native area for burial.

Police claimed to have arrested four accused including the father of slain girls and the district’s top cop said the family of the slain sisters did not want police to dig into the crime. However, he vowed to enforce the state law.
