Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has said Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce the implantation of a single national curriculum across Pakistan on Monday (tomorrow), reported 24News HD TV channel on Sunday.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the federal minister for education said that the single national curriculum would be implemented from class one to five in public and private schools as well as madrassas across Pakistan from Monday (tomorrow). He said a uniform curriculum was being introduced for the first time in the history of the country. He said that a uniform curriculum was part of his party’s manifesto, adding that the current education system was based on injustice.  

Shafqat Mehmood said our society had been divided because of multiple education curriculums. He further said that all developed countries of the world have a uniform national curriculum

He said the uniform national curriculum had already been adopted by Punjab, KP, Gilgit Baltistan, and AJK. He said that Sindh had not been adopted the uniform national curriculum so far.
