Shehbaz Sharif says PTI to be blamed if elections are delayed

Accusing the PTI of trying to delay the general elections scheduled to be held on February 8, 2024, former prime minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday made it clear that the PTI would be to blame if polls were delayed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said that in this connection the petition filed by the party in the Lahore High Court (LHC) did not reflect people’s aspirations. “As always, the policy PTI is pursuing is based on double standards and hypocrisy,” he alleged.
He alleged that what the former prime minister and ex-party chairman Imran Khan and ex-foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said about the US cipher case in public was in sharp contrast to what they had now told the interrogators.
Shehbaz accused the PTI wanted political instability in the country by creating a constitutional crisis.
