Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Thursday that it was a pity that a man who did not have the ability to run PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif’s metro bus had been thrust upon the nation of 22 crore people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a statement, she said that a man who could not run the projects launched by former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif would only ruin the country.
“Criminal negligence on the part of authorities to properly look after the metro buses and stations is condemnable,” she said, and added, “The fact that fifth incident of a metro bus developing a fault has been reported in less than one-and-half month is the height of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government’s ‘incompetence'.”
She said the government which had spent Rs126 billion on Peshawar’s BRT could not be sensitive to the hardships men, women, old and young had to face during commuting.
She urged PM Imran and what she called his hired spokespersons to better concentrate on operating metro buses rather than always spitting venom at the opposition.
