Firdous Ashiq Awan named IPP information secretary 

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has been named Central Secretary of Information of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

In a tweet, Party Chief Tareen revealed the appointment of Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan to this crucial role within the party’s structure.

Taking to Twitter, Jahangir Tareen penned,” I am pleased to announce Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan as Central Secretary Information of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.”

Formerly, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan served as Federal Information Minister for both Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. Later, she served as an aide on information to former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar.
