PTI to finalise candidate for NA-249 Karachi by-election on March 16

As the race for the National Assembly seat (NA-249, Karachi) is gaining momentum, different political parties are lining up their candidates for the seat.
At least 22 candidates from the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have received nomination papers for the seat. The ruling party’s parliamentary board followed the process in this regard and finalized two names for the contest. The PTI is considering fielding Abdur Rasheed Godil or Ashraf Qureshi in the NA-249 constituency. However, the final decision will be taken on Tuesday.
