CM Maryam announces starting overseas property transfer service in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced starting overseas property transfer services including a facility of registration, mutation and registration to facilifitate overseas Pakistanis.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, CM Maryam Nawaz presided over the meeting regarding the reforms of the Board of Revenue. In the meeting, the business plan of the Management of State Land was presented.
The meeting briefed the Chief Minister on the issues of Punjab Land Record Authority.
Maryam Nawaz ordered the concern authorities to take immediate steps for services to overseas Pakistanis in America, UK, Canada and other countries.
She said in the meeting that the timelines in specialized property transfer services for overseas should be ensured.
The Chief Minister has asked for the records of lease of government land in Punjab and advised to take steps for establishment of parks and roadside small gyms on government land in all districts of the province.
She was briefed in the meeting that the land facilitation center will be started in 11 districts by June 30 while the land record of 5798 Mozas will also be onlined till December 2024.
CM Maryam was also breifed that online land record project will be initially started in ten districts of Punjab province.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Provincial Advisor Pervaiz Rasheed, Sania Ashiq, Senior Member Board of Revenue, Secretary Revenue, Chief Settlement Commissioner, and other concerned authorities attended the meeting.
